Project Role

Game Engineer and Game Design

  • Developed and implemented the initial character control mechanics along with a simple isometric camera system, including dynamic camera triggers to prevent obstruction by environmental objects.

  • Designed the game’s core loop and player mechanics, ensuring engaging and cohesive moment-to-moment gameplay.

  • Collaborated with the game artist to design the initial level layout and world structure, blending gameplay flow with artistic and narrative elements for a cohesive player experience.

  • Created and programmed core puzzle and traversal mechanics such as gate interactions, light reflection systems, and mirror-based challenges.

  • Designed and scripted in-game events and soft cutscenes to enhance narrative delivery, world-building, and immersion within the levels.

  • Implemented simple UI flows including the Main Menu, Settings, and End Screen, ensuring seamless navigation and user experience.
